Happy Birthday, Maine!

Yesterday was Maine's 198th birthday.  The fourth grade had a celebration for the birthday today.  The kids rotated to each of the 4th grade classrooms for a fun Maine-themed activity.  In the afternoon we had Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap visit our school to talk with the kids and present our school with a nice, new Maine state flag for the front of our building (as you'll see in the pictures below, our old one was looking a little ratty).
