STEM Challenge - Tin Foil Mayflower

Today we got together with Mrs. DeFroscia's 4th grade class to participate in a STEM challenge.  Students were given limited amounts of tin foil and/or popsicle sticks and challenged to create a boat (The Mayflower) to hold as many Pilgrims (marbles) as possible.  The kids did a great job of working together and redesigning the boats to fix problems that arose during testing.  The winning Mayflower was designed by CJ, Brooks, and Chris...it held 37 Pilgrims!
