It was so nice to hear all of the kids' bag stories this week. This writing piece does a great job of introducing some major 4th grade writing skills, such as: creating a story with a beginning, middle, and end, organizing your story in paragraphs, keeping paragraphs on-topic, and adding interesting details. The other great part of this piece is that we get to learn about each other by listening to their stories as well. The kids should have come home with their items and the stories they typed. If they can't find their story, I'd be more than happy to email you a copy.
