Lots of fun stuff happening at our school assembly this morning. Mrs. Mayer started things off by announcing this year's Chickadee winner (Elizabeth, Queen of the Seas, by Lynne Cox). Then, Mrs. Mayer was surprised with a special announcement that she won the Walter J. Taranto School Librarian of the Year Award!!! The assembly then was turned over to a wonderful musician, Sean Gaskell.
