We worked with some vocabulary words today relating to temperature. We talked about the meanings of tepid, sweltering, and balmy. The kids each chose at least one of the words to create their own sentence and drawing with. We'll work on interesting vocabulary throughout the year and really try to incorporate more interesting words in our own writing pieces.
