Finishing up Reading groups

James and the Giant Peach, The People of Sparks, Clementine, How to Steal a Dog, and Pilgrims, are the books reading groups are reading in Mr. Rand’s 4th grade class. We are just finishing them up, and would like to hear a little of what some of the people think…
Jessie from the Pilgrim reading group-
Q: How did you like your book?
A: She liked it because she got to learn things she didn’t know and to learn about the famous people!
Q: Did you like it better than your other reading group book?
A: Yes!
Q: Did you like the genre of this book?
A: Yes!
Ryan from the How to Steal a Dog reading group-
Q: Would you follow those instructions of how to steal a dog?
A: Yes!
Q: Who’s dog would you steal?
A: My neighbor Judy’s dog.
Q: What kind is he?
A: I think he’s a mix.
Seamus from the Clementine reading group-
Q: Do you think you’re like Clementine?
A: Yes, besides the worrying.
Q: Is this your first Clementine book that you’ve read?
A: Yes!
Q: Do you like this book?
A: Yes!
Q: Are you going to read more Clementine books in the future?
A: Probably.

A: Yes!
Q: Would you travel with the insects in the peach or go alone?
A: I’d probably travel with the insects.
Q: Would you run away from the mean aunts?
A: Yes!

A: I’d find an abandoned warehouse or something.
