Did you ever stop to realize that all paper money from the United States
has pictures of men on it? How come there aren't any women from our
history recognized on our currency? There's a group of people who are
wondering that very thing. This group has narrowed down a long list of influential US women to a final four. Today, the students read about these four finalists and chose the one that they thought should be on our $20 bill. They provided excellent reasons for their opinions as well. Below is a pie chart showing the results from
our class vote. The actual winner will be announced on the
Women on 20's Website on Tuesday morning.
Almost half of our class chose Rosa Parks, we'll see tomorrow if the rest of the country agrees...
