Personal Narrative Writing

This week we began a new writing unit all about personal narratives, which is an account of a personal experience.  We'll be working through the 5 stages of the writing process as the kids work on their own personal narratives.  Right now we are in the Prewriting stage.  To help them decide on an event, students have been brainstorming interesting experiences that they've had.  You can help out at home by talking with your child about details from the experience they chose to write about.
