Steve McKay, Students of the Week, Upcoming Celebration & Book Fair

Channel 2 weatherman Steve McKay came to talk to the fourth grade about his job. The kids learned about how to read a weather map, and how he predicts the weather. Check out the 6 o'clock news on channel 2 tonight to hear him mention our classes. Posing with him in the picture below are our students of the week Lily and Paige.

The other big news from today was that we earned enough points for our second celebration of the school year.  We will have our Fun Day on Tuesday, March 25th.  This will be a wacky hair day and kids can bring a favorite board game and a treat from home to share with their classmates.

Book Fair
The students will have time to purchase books from the Book Fair on Monday.  If they forget their money, they can still bring money in on Tuesday or Wednesday and we'll find time for them to make it down.  You can also wait until Family Night on Wednesday night if you prefer.
