How Do You Eat Your Oreo?

Ahh...the Oreo Cookie...an American classic!  So many different ways to eat one, and what a fun way to learn about How-To writing.  The kids recently completed a 5-paragraph essay about their process for eating an Oreo.  A few students decided to take some of their free time to type theirs for the blog.  So, here you are - enjoy!

Yummy Oreo

Munch munch! The delight of eating an Oreo. Nothing is better than munching a crunchy Oreo cookie.  Have you ever tried one of their delightful treats before? Here is my own way of devouring that delicious cookie.

First I twisted the top off carefully so I don't get the icing cream. I just eat little bites of the Oreo. I want to make it last. It tasted like chocolate and sweet.

Secondly I eat the delicious icing cream. I just take a little tiny tiny bite to taste because some Oreo taste like mint. The filling is sweet and smooth, This is my favorite part of the cookie.

Finally I eat the last half part of the cookie. I crunch a little bite of the cookie. The treat taste like chocolate, its sugary and sweet. Then I eat the little piece of Oreo.

            Thats how I eat my yummy Oreo.  Mmmmm, the cookie was delicious! How do you eat you scrumptious Oreo? You can show me anytime.

How Do You Eat Your Oreo?

           Mmm!  That heavenly, creamy, goodness!  Want one?  You do?  Okay, I’ll go get you one.  Oh, I almost forgot, you’re going to have to eat it a certain way.  Alright, I’ll be back with your Oreo.  I’m back so let’s get started.

           First, gently twist the top off without breaking it into messy crumbs.  When you remove the top, try not to get any frosting off with it.  Throw the scrumptious piece into your watering mouth.  How do you like it so far?

Now, follow the instructions above for the bottom piece.  If you get a little bit of frosting off this time, you’re safe because after throw this piece in, you’re going to throw the frosting in too!  I love the way it melts in my mouth, wirling and twirling me into a sugar wonderland!  Do you feel it?

Last but not least, the mess is horrendous!  Piece by piece, I get them stuck on my finger and stick ‘em on my tongue like snowflakes on a cold winters day.  As each and every one of them get’s stuck on my finger and into my mouth, I must clean off my face.

After my clean up, I hope to savor another Oreo, but instead of eating an Oreo my way, let’s eat one you way. You can tell me anytime, how about now?

Munch, crunch, yum.  The delight of eating an Oreo.  Nothing is better than munching on this sugary dessert.  Have you ever tried one of these sensational treats before?  Here’s my way of eating this creamy and crunchy cookie.      

            First, I carefully peel the top part of the Oreo off.  Then I plop it into my mouth.   “Crunch, crunch” I love to savor this heavenly treat.  “ Yum, yum”!  

Secondly, I use my teeth to scoop the Icing off.  I take the cookie thats left and lick all the frosting off.  “ If there’s any left on the cookie”.  “Mmm”, as I taste the creamy filling, I Just want more and more.  

Last of all, the bottom cookie.  I just munch and crunch on this particular dessert.  “Mmm” the rich flavor of chocolate.  Crumbs spill on everything while I enjoy this cookie.
