One of Mr. Lucas's students (Avery) has joined Maddie and Izzy from Mr. Rand's room in writing some posts for our class blog.  She decided to write her first post about yesterday's holiday, Veteran's Day...enjoy!

Veteran’s Day

    This past Monday, November 11th, was Veteran’s Day. Is anyone in your family a veteran?If so, you should be honored. The person in your family(In my case, my Grandfather)was serving our country by having a profession as a soldier.

    We would like to thank our Veterans for having the courage to sacrifice themselves to save the U.S.. We are very grateful.
