Author Visit
The 4th grade welcomed Maine author, James Kaiser to OTES today. Mr. Kaiser talked about his travels around the world taking photos and writing travel guides for many national parks, including Acadia National Park. He also surprised the students by giving ALL OF THEM copies of three of his books (Acadia, Yosemite, and The Grand Canyon)! If you'd like to learn more about him, you can visit his website at jameskaiser.com.
Field Day
Mrs. Robichaud and many volunteers put together a great, fun-filled field day for grades 3-4 this week. The kids had a wonderful time!
2nd Grade Skit
Mrs. Stevens invited us to watch her second graders put on a skit called The Magic Fish. They did a wonderful job.
Wizard of Oz
We were treated to an amazing performance of The Wizard of Oz earlier this week. A group of 5th graders did an exceptional job!
